Description
The STE5125M RF Shield Box provides a controlled RF environment for wireless device testing. Its spacious benchtop design gives engineers room for larger devices and test setups. The enclosure supports engineering, laboratory, development, and production testing applications.
The STE5125M helps reduce outside RF interference during testing. This controlled environment allows engineers to achieve more consistent and repeatable test results. It also helps isolate the device under test from unwanted signals in the surrounding environment.
A front-loading swing-away door provides convenient access to the test chamber. The enclosure also uses a double-lip RF-tight gasket to help maintain shielding performance when closed. This design makes the STE5125M practical for frequent testing in laboratory and production environments.
The enclosure includes 3/4-inch RF absorbent foam inside the test chamber. The absorber helps control internal RF reflections and creates a more suitable environment for RF measurements.
The STE5125M also uses 120 mm honeycomb passive ventilation to support airflow during testing. Optional fans can provide additional cooling when the test application requires increased airflow.
The larger chamber gives engineers additional space for wireless devices, test fixtures, and other equipment. Users can also customize the enclosure to meet specific testing requirements.
The STE5125M RF Shield Box supports testing for a wide range of wireless technologies. Applications include Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, RFID, 3G, 4G, and 5G devices.
Engineers can use the enclosure for wireless device development, validation, troubleshooting, RF performance testing, and manufacturing applications. Its combination of RF isolation, internal space, ventilation, and flexible configuration makes it suitable for many RF test environments.
